Prostatic Utricle

The prostatic utricle is a tiny pocket in the prostate gland that is 5 to 7 mm in length and opens into the urethra. It has some small glands that open into it, and is the male remnant of the female uterus. It has no known function, but may assist in the lubrication of the urethra.
