Vas Deferens

The tube that connects the epididymis at the back of the testicle to the urethra is the Vas Deferens.

Sperm are manufactured in the testicles and are stored in the epididymis. Once mature, the sperm swim along the tube for storage in the seminal vesicles, situated just below the prostate gland. When a man ejaculates during sexual intercourse, vigorous contractions in the muscular walls of the vas deferens, seminal vesicles and prostate push semen into the urethra, passing through the prostate, where it collects more fluid, down the length of the penis to the tip from which it is ejaculated.
